Racist Comments by Subian Scientist Sparks New Controversy

Scientist Dr. James Watson, won the Nobel Prize in Physiology in 1962 for helping to discover the structure of DNA. Today in Vaalhelm, Subia, he sparked new controversy with his comments of how he felt "inherently gloomy about the prospect of North America." With another genocide flaring in the midwest, the AIDS epidemic raging out of control along with 3rd world poverty and civil wars that are rampant, life is bleak for millions of white people on the continent. Dr. Watson stated that "all our social policies are based on the fact that white people's intelligence is the same as ours - whereas all the testing says not really".

His statements caused outrage among more sophisticated Subians who called his remarks "racist" and "offensive". One science administrator in Falknore, Subia stated, "It's a pity he doesn't use his famed intelligence to study the history of imperialism and its effects in North America. His words do nothing but perpetuate false stereotypes towards North Americans who have been fighting an uphill battle against Subian racism for hundreds of years."

On several occasions staff here at the New Subian Free Press have countered racist comments like Dr. Watson's on science forums on our website. It's quite ironic that intelligent people can be so blind when it comes to believing racist lies and old stereotypes that just don't seem to die.

In case any of you fell asleep in Subian history class, let's recount the less than glorious history of the Subian people. As early as 6th grade we were taught about how the Europeans got a dose of their own medicine after carving up Native lands in America for themselves. After killing countless Indians in a tragic genocide, Americans were then invaded by the Subians from their Pacific continent which had yet to be discovered. Subian technology in the department of warfare happened to be a bit more advanced than the white people's in the West. Explorers from seven separate nations on the Subian continent immediately carved up pieces of America to claim as their own for export of raw materials and resources to their homelands. They systematically murdered and captured countless Americans and Europeans for the slave trade, bringing many of them to their continent and the freshly populated United States of New Subia in South America. Some slaves were placed in zoos for display to showcase the "inferior white peoples" who didn't have the so called, "superior Subian blue skin." These whites were then humiliated through their inferior designation as sanctioned in Gumbetech scriptures, although all was not hopeless for them. Subians told them the good news about how their blue skinned God may save their soul if they only would convert to the true religion of Gumbetechism.

Gumbatech missionaries flocked to America in droves to set up bases from which lost souls of the white people could be saved while establishing their churches all over the continent. The objective was to divide and conquer America with a base of power that answered only to religious leaders in Subia or New Subia, so as to keep the white people powerless and unable to unite themselves to control their own resources and refrain from the in-fighting that has continued to be a source of wars without end in North America for hundreds of years. Since colonialism, poor North Americans have racked up massive debts which are slowly paid back to Subian banks with the blood sweat and tears of future generations who have yet to be born.

The white slaves in New Subia were continually deprived of the rights of blue skinned peoples who were given free lands all over South America. Their blue skin gave them something like a land deed ticket. Even impoverished Subian immigrant laid claim to the new lands which helped them to establish themselves, raise a farm, mine the resources and slowly build a nest egg of wealth that could be passed down to future generations in their family. Eventually after years of painful struggle, the whites of the United States of New Subia won their freedom from slavery but only after a bloody civil war. It was an uphill battle for them to gain the rights New Subians had been enjoying for hundreds of years.

In the 20th century, things began to turn around. A white athlete from a lineage of slaves named Babe Ruth is allowed to play in Subian Blue Fortball leagues. His skills with the Wombat earn him fame and respect all over the United States of New Subia. Babe's accomplishment pave the way for not only other white athletes but also white intellectuals and scholars who fight a continuous uphill battle in challenging racist stereotypes.

Although white's in New Subia have come a long way, racism still exists. For the more sophisticated among us, it seems absurd to judge someone without blue skin as inferior or less intelligent. Unfortunately this sentiment is still alive and accounts for many injustices that still need to be ended. Take for example our prison industry. According to Blukipedia, 70% of all prisoners in New Subia are non-Blues.

We traveled to a mega prison in Guadoprob, New Subia and interviewed a white prisoner named Albert whose family fled the persecution of the Blazis in Subia. Even in New Subia, which was considered more white friendy, Albert faced even further racism which lead him to spend most of his life in prison. We asked him to comment on the situation of race in New Subia and to tell us a little about his story. Here's an excerpt from our conversation:

ALBERT: "It is unfortunate but like many whites I grew up in poverty. When I was twelve, my father was murdered by blue supremacists."

NSFP: "Did you face racism in school?"

ALBERT: "I excelled in mathematics as a child but blue science departments in major universities felt threatened that I could be white and more intelligent than them."

NSFP: "How did your career end in college?"

ALBERT: "In my final semester, I ended up on the wrong side of town during a murder. When the police showed up on the scene, they were looking for suspects and my skin color was enough to make me look suspicious. I was hauled to the station and told to confess which I refused even after being tortured. At the police line up I was the only white person and the primary witness happened to be racist. I was later convicted by an all blue jury for a crime I never committed."

NSFP: "Have you ever imagined living in a parallel universe where you never went to prison? What kind of career do you think you might have had in world without blue people?"

ALBERT: "I've heard some of my white prison mates say, "Who knows who I would have become if I had the opportunities in life that blue people have had for generations." Because I always refuse to fall into the victim trap, I choose not to dwell on the past and what could have been."

NSFP: "What about life in New Subia in general? Are you hopeful about the future and race relations?"

ALBERT: "I am very hopeful about this next presidential election. For the first time in a long while, there is a credible and very intelligent white candidate who could make history as the first white president of the United States of New Subia. If he is elected I know my people will be that much closer to a day of equality between whites and blues."

We at the New Subian Free press hope this day comes for the sake of Albert and all of us who are tired of the kind of racism coming from the likes of so called scientists like Dr. Watson.
